NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN PERIOD OF OPERATIONS (JULY 1ST)

Kamikochi Imperial Hotel has been deferring opening for business in light of the state of emergency enacted by the government and to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infectious disease. This year the hotel will be open from July 1st until November 15th, with the final stay date being November 14th. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience experienced by patrons who had made reservations up to June 30th. Please note that management reserves the right to continue to restrict new reservations.

With the start of hotel operations on July 1st, we will continue to pay attention to measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infections and to ensure the wellbeing and safety of guests and visitors. For details, please refer to the following.

TO OUR GUESTS
・ Please make certain you wear a mask whenever entering the hotel premises.

・ In order for all of our patrons to use our facilities without undue concern, we ask that you cooperate and thoroughly disinfect your fingers with alcohol whenever entering the premises and whenever you enter each facility.

・ You are requested to observe body temperature measurement precautions whenever entering our hotel buildings.

・ Implementation of body temperature measurement
A thermography is installed at the entrance of the hotel to measure your physical temperature.
We sincerely apologize for those who have a fever above 37.5°C or who are not feeling well, but please refrain from entering the building.
*The standard of 37.5°C is based on national administrative guidelines.

・ Please be sure to keep ample distance between yourself and other customers when in a queue.

・ Should you feel unwell, please be certain to alert the staff nearest to you without delay.

* Note the above guidelines may be updated in the future in accordance with the policies of the Japanese government and related organizations. In such cases, you shall be advised accordingly. Your cooperation is deeply appreciated at this time.
RESTAURANTS AND GIFT SHOP
* Restaurant will open with a limited seating capacity in order to reduce the number of people using the premises. Kindly note that patrons who are unable to use their restaurant of choice may be able to be seated and be served their desired orders at another restaurant. We thank you for your gracious understanding and cooperation in this regard.
* Please note that due to the limitations on the number of people, you may be asked to wait to enter a restaurant.
* Please note restaurant menus are subject to change without notice.

Dinner 5:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
The number of menu selections for breakfast and dinner is limited.
As our restaurants are operating with limited seating capacity, even customers who have advance reservations may be served in a different dining room.

Breakfast Seatings from 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 9:00 a.m. (for registered guests only) Morning Rice Broth table d’hote; Japanese-style table d’hote.
Lunch Closed
Dinner Seatings from 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (for registered guests only) The number of menu items will be limited.
The Teppanyaki Corner (inside Azusa-an) will be open.
Casual Dining
Alpenrose
Lunch 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The number of menu items for lunch and dinner will be limited.
As the number of seats is limited, Alpenrose customers may seated at other restaurants to receive their orders.
