General Information

Q I would like to see some plans of the hotel and where it is located.
A

The hotel is comprised of the Hotel Building and Annex Building. Front Dest, guestrooms, restaurants, banquet halls, shops and other facilities are in the Hotel Building. Fittness Center, Pool and Saunas are in the Annex Building.

Q Where are the entrances?
Q Do you provide parking?
A

Our Parking on the Lower Levels of the Hotel Building accommodates 500 vehicles. Parking is 600 yen every 30 minutes. 2,000 yen per day for registered guests.

Q Where are the shops?
A

In the Hotel Building, we offer the Hotel Specialities Shop on the Second Floor, the Park takeout corner on the Lobby Floor and the Imperial Hotel Plaza on the Lower Level One and Two.

Q Where can I obtain information such as the hotel address or access options?
A

Please refer to our list of access options. Our switchboard takes calls twenty-four hours a day.

Q Do you have any basic information such as on Japan's climate?
A

Temperatures: Japan has four seasons and temperatures vary by season. The annual average is 16-17°C (60°F)..

Summer (June to August) ranges between average lows of around 20°C to average highs of 30°C (68°F-86°F). Winter (December to February) ranges between 3°C and 10°C (37°F-50°F)..

Q What are your hotel dress codes?
A

Other than requesting guests avoid excessive exposure of skin or unsuitable clothing that may give a negative impression to other guests, we have no specific dress codes in public areas.

However, a number of our restaurants, bars, and lounges do maintain dress codes. These are different for each establishment, and so we suggest you confirm directly with the respective venue for details.

Q Which credit cards do you accept?
A

We accept the following cards: AX / VS / MS / UC / DC / DN / JCB / SA and so on.

There may be limitations for cards not listed above, or at certain shops or restaurants, so please inquire for details.

Q Do you have any facilities or equipment for the disabled?
A

All entrances are equipped with wheelchair ramps.

We offer handicapped-accessible accommodations. Please inquire about availability when making reservations.

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located beside Music Room on Lower Level One and on the Third Floor banquet hall level of the Hotel Building. We do not have restrooms that ostomates can use.

Q Do you provide wheelchairs for guest use?
A

We provide complimentary usage of wheelchairs within the hotel. Please ask a bellman or one of the Guest Services staff for assistance.

Q Are there any areas for breastfeeding or changing babies?
A

A Nursing Room is provided on the Third Floor banquet hall level. Please ask one of the hotel staff for assistance.
Platforms for changing babies are available in the restrooms located on Lower Level one, the Second Floor and beside Kikyo Room on the Third Floor banquet hall level of the Hotel Building.

Q Are there any smoking areas in the hotel?
A

There is a Smoking Corner outside of the Main Entrance on the Second Floor of the Hotel Building. There are Smoking Corners for banquet guests on the Forth Floor of the Main Building. These availability may change depending on the status of the various banquet halls, so please confirm whrn you arrive.

Q Are there any ATMs?
A

The hotel does not have a ATM, but there are some in the OAP Tower Building next to the Hotel Building.

  • Mizuho Bank Cashing Corner on the First Floor (7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends and public holidays)
  • Seven Bank Cashing Corner on the First Floor (8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
  • Mitsubishi UFJ Bank ATM Corner on the Second Floor (8:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekends and public holidays)

Q How do I get to the hotel from the station or the airports?
A

You may come by road, use public transportation, or take a taxi. The Hotel is conveniently located close to Sakuranomiya railway station. We provide the Complimentary Shuttle service from JR Osaka Station. Please refer to the Maps and Directions page for details.

Q Do you provide a Shuttle service?
A

Our shuttle bus leaves the Imperial Hotel at 00, 15, 30 and 45 minutes, the hour. From JR Osaka Station, the shuttle bus leaves at 05, 20, 35 and 50 minutes, the hour.

Q Do you provide parking?
A

Our Parking on the Lower Levels of the Hotel Building accommodates 500 vehicles. Parking is 600 yen every 30 minutes. 2,000 yen per day for resistered guests (until 6 p.m. on checkout day: consumption tax inclusive). Hotel restaurants provide customers with parking vouchers valid for various periods. Please inquire at the restaurants for details.

Q I would like some information on local attractions.
A

Our hotel can serve as a base for visiting popular tourist destinations, including Osaka Castle-the symbol of Osaka-, the Dotonbori area, with its bustling shops and Universal Studios Japan.

Q Can I buy the tickets for the Universal Studios Japan?
A

We offer the tickets restrictly to resident guests which are available during their stay. Concierge staff, the Second Floor of the Hotel Building will assist you.
