Train Access

By Chuo Line limited express (from Shinjuku Station)
  • Board the Chuo Line limited express train from Shinjuku Station to Matsumoto Station (approx. 2 hrs. 50 min.).
  • From Matsumoto Station, transfer to the Matsumoto Dentetsu Line to Shin-Shimashima Station (30 min.).
  • From Shin-Shimashima Station, take the Matsumoto Dentetsu bus to the hotel (approx. 1 hr. 15 min.).
By Nagano Shinkansen (from Tokyo Station)
  • Take the Nagano Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station (1 hr. 50 min.).
  • From Nagano Station, board the Shinonoi Line to Matsumoto Station (approx. 50 min.).
  • Then take the Matsumoto Dentetsu Line from Matsumoto to Shin-Shimashima Station (30 min.).
  • From there, use the Matsumoto Dentetsu bus to the hotel (approx. 1 hr. 15 min.).

Car Access

From the Matsumoto interchange exit of the Nagano Expressway, take National Route 158 to Sawando for approximately 1 hour 10 minutes (approx. 35 km).
From Sawando, take a bus or taxi to the hotel (30 min., approx. 15 km), as private vehicles are prohibited.
