Wedding Kimono Experience with Photography Session

What are Mon-tsuki and Iro-uchi-kake kimonos?

A mon-tsuki is a Japanese men's formal kimono, typically worn for weddings, ceremonies, and other formal events. It's characterized by its simplicity and the presence of family crests (mon) on the garment.
An Iro-uchi-kake is a colorful long ornate, silk kimono worn by brides during Japanese wedding ceremonies. Unlike the pure  white "Shiro-muku" wedding kimono which symbolizes purity, the iro-uchi-kake comes in a variety of vibrant colors and patterns, often featuring auspicious motifs like cranes, pine trees and flowers. These designs are symbolic of good fortune and happiness for the couple.
