About Dining and Lounges

Q What sort of restaurants are in the hotel?
A

We offer French and other Western-style cuisines, buffets, teppanyaki, sushi, and Japanese cuisine. Room service is available for our staying guests.

Q Do you have any Japanese restaurants?
A

We have a wide range of Japanese restaurants, offering dishes such as sushi, tempura, sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and kaiseki cuisine.

Q Are there any private rooms?
A

Many of our restaurants offer private rooms, both large and small. Please search here for details of your desired restaurant.

Q Do your restaurants allow children?
A

Children are welcome to dine at the following restaurants without any restrictions:

  • Western:The Imperial Viking Sal, Parkside Diner
  • Japanese: Tokyo Nadaman
  • Sushi: Nakata

    Please note that the availability of child-sized chairs and tableware (such as smaller spoons, forks, and plates) varies by location.

Restrictions regarding dining times and children's ages apply at Les Saisons, Kamon, Torakuro, San Applause, The Imperial Lounge Aqua, and Old Imperial Bar. Please refer to each restaurant's profile page or contact us for further information.

Q Do any of your restaurants allow smoking?
A

All restaurants, bars, lounges and banquet halls (including waiting rooms and lobbies) on the premises are non-smoking.

For our restaurant patrons, we offer smoking lounges below:

・Level 17, Main Building: Adjacent to the Imperial Viking Sal
・The Mezzanine Floor, Main Building: Adjacent to the Old Imperial Bar

Q Can wheelchairs or strollers be used at any of your restaurants?
A

Wheelchairs may be used in all of our restaurants. Please inquire directly at each restaurant as the table and chair heights are different for each.
Stroller policies vary by location, so we kindly ask that you check with each store when making your reservation.

Q Which restaurants serve breakfast?
A

Breakfast is served at all the four restaurants below. Please search here for details on your restaurant of choice.

  • 17th floor, Main Building: The Imperial Viking Sal buffet restaurant
    Offers a breakfast buffet of both Western and Japanese dishes
  • 2nd floor, Main Building: Les Saisons French restaurant
    Offers a Western-style breakfast either as a table d'hote or a la carte
  • 1st floor, Main Building: Parkside Diner all-day dining
    Offers a Western-style breakfast either as a table d'hote or a la carte
  • Lower Level One , Main Building: Tokyo Nadaman Japanese restaurant
    Offers a Japanese-style breakfast with either rice or okayu (rice gruel)
Room service is available for our staying guests.

Q Which restaurants accept reservations?
A

We accept breakfast reservations at the following three reataurants.

  • 2nd floor, Main Building: Les Saisons French restaurant (For non-staying guests, reservations are accepted for private dining rooms only)
  • 1st floor, Main Building: Parkside Diner all-day dining
  • Lower Level One, Main Building: Tokyo Nadaman Japanese restaurant

* The Imperial Viking Sal do not, in principle, accept reservations for breakfast.

Q Are non-resident guests also able to have breakfast at your restaurants?
A

We welcome customers who are not staying with us for breakfast as well, but please be aware that resident guests are extended seating priority at The Imperial Viking Sal.

Others

Q Do you accept debit cards?
A

We accept brand-name debit cards featuring the Visa, JCB, or Mastercard logo.
Please note that J-Debit, which allows you to use your cash card directly as a debit card, cannot be used.
Some individual stores may not accept these cards due to specific circumstances, so please contact us for further details.

Q Which locations accept cashless payments?
A

Cashless payments are accepted at all of our restaurants. Please check the individual store pages for more details.

Q Will I be charged a cancellation fee if I cancel my restaurant reservation?
A

The following restaurants have a cancellation policy in place. For details, please check each restaurant's webpage or the respective booking site.

Q Do I need to reserve a restaurant in advance?
A

If you already know the date and time you intend to visit us, we recommend advance reservations.
The Parkside Diner and the Rendez-Vous Lounge on the Lobby Floor of the Main Building, and the Old Imperial Bar on the Mezzanine Floor of the Main Building, accept reservations only for certain times of day, so please refer to the page for each restaurant for details.
Some restaurants and dining plans also accept online reservations.

Q Is there a dress code?
A

Dress codes are different at each establishment, and we do suggest you confirm directly with the restaurant of your choice for details.

Gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket in the Main Dining Room, Les Saisons (except for breakfast).
During the summer season (June–September), we kindly request that guests wear a jacket or a collared shirt during lunch hours .

To provide the ultimate dining experience at Japanese Cuisine Torakuro, we prioritize the delicate aromas of our dishes.
Accordingly, we politely request that guests avoid wearing heavy fragrances when visiting. We thank you for your cooperation.

Q We would like to celebrate a special event. Can we book flowers or cakes?
A

We welcome your requests. Please inform us when you place your reservations.
In addition, the restaurants and bar lounges at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo offer special packages for memorable anniversaries, large group parties, and other occasions.

Q Are you able to accommodate food allergies or other dietary restrictions?
A

We do our very best to meet individual needs. Please inform us when you place your reservations.

Q Do you offer vegan or halal menu?
A

VEGAN:We offer vegan menus at some of our restaurants.

Halal:We can prepare dishes without alcohol, pork, or lard.
Halal meat may also be available upon request, so please contact us in advance.

Q Do you have children's menus?
A

Parkside Diner offers a delightful selection of Western favorites that children love, including pancakes, hamburger steaks, and corn cream soup.
While The Imperial Viking Sal does not feature a specific children's menu, our buffet offers approximately 40 varieties of dishes—including soups, pastas, fresh fruits, and desserts—ensuring a wonderful dining experience for the entire family.

Q What are the parking charges for guests dining at your restaurants?
A
  • Guests dining at Les Saisons, Kamon, Torakuro, The Imperial Viking Sal, the Old Imperial Bar, and The Imperial Lounge Aqua are offered three hours of complimentary parking for bills of 3,000 yen or more.
  • Guests dining at the Parkside Diner, the Rendez-Vous Lounge,The Rendez-Vous AWA Nadaman, and San Applause are offered two hours of complimentary parking for bills of 3,000 yen or more.
  • Guests dining at Toraya are offered one hour of complimentary parking for bills of 6,600 yen or more.
Q Which credit cards do you accept?
A

We accept the following cards: AX / VS / MS / UC / DC / DN / JCB / SA and so on.

There may be limitations for cards not listed above, or at certain shops or restaurants, so please inquire for details.
